On behalf of the International Society for Laboratory Hematology (ISLH) and our partner organizations: North American Specialized Coagulation Laboratory Association (NASCOLA), Accreditation Canada (AC), and the Institute of Quality Management in Healthcare (IQMH), we are pleased to invite you and your colleagues to attend ISLH 2025 the 38th International Symposium on Technological Innovations in Laboratory Hematology.
This year’s conference will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, at Halifax Convention Centre from May 7-9, 2025 with the ISLH Educational Workshop Day preceding the conference on May 6th. Join us this year for:

SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 3, 2025
EARLY DECISION: DECEMBER 20, 2024*
The online abstract submission system is now open! Be sure to submit your abstract by February 3, 2025.
Abstracts are being accepted for the following categories:
- Cellular Analysis
- Coagulation
- Flow Cytometry
- Molecular Analysis
- Morphology
- Platelets
- Red Cell Analysis and Hemoglobinopathies
- Standards and Quality Assurance
*Abstract authors from developing countries must submit an abstract by December 20, 2024 in order to be considered for an early decision acceptance. The goal of the early decision program is to provide authors additional time to apply for any necessary travel visas. Early decision applicants will be notified of their abstract acceptance status by January 15, 2025.

ISLH 2025 TRAVEL AWARDS
APPLICATION DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 3, 2025
ISLH offers the following travel awards for authors who submit an abstract:
- Carol Briggs Top Scoring Abstract Award
- Trainee Travel Award
- Young Investigator Award
- Berend Houwen Award
- Abstract submitter must reside in a developing country. List of eligible developing countries can be found here.
Applicants for the non-early Berend Houwen Travel Award and the Trainee Travel Award must submit their abstract by February 3, 2025.
