Outcomes of patients with multiple myeloma continue to improve, in large part due to the availability and accessibility of novel therapeutics. The therapeutic landscape is changing rapidly, and the main goals of this presentation are to update attendees on the pivotal data presented in multiple myeloma trials over the last year, and to contextualize practice changing updates within the Canadian therapeutic landscape.
In this presentation, common and/or challenging issues arising from the use of BTK inhibitors will be discussed, using an engaging case-based format. Cases will be relevant to the Canadian landscape and provide the learner with practical tips on optimizing use of BTK inhibitors.
We will review the diagnosis, recognition, and management of PNH, and specifically in the context of the Canadian treatment landscape. Cases will be used to highlight the variable presentations of thrombotic complications. We encourage interactivity and provide the ability to participate in Q&A, polling, and other engagement opportunities.
This presentation will present a series of difficult clinical cases that identify many of the complex problems we see on a day-today basis in the management of immune mediated thrombocytopenia.
