Malignant Hematology and Stem Cell Transplant Fellowship Temporary, Full-Time (One Year Term)

The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency is offering a one-year clinical malignant hematology and stem cell transplant fellowship at the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency with our Provincial Hematology program.

The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency is responsible for the provision of cancer services within the Province of Saskatchewan and operates two comprehensive cancer treatment and research centres. The provincial hematology program focuses on the treatment of patients with lymphomas, myeloma and acute leukemias and other malignant hematologic disorders. The program performs all autologous and allogenic stem cell transplants for a population base of 1.2 million people. CAR-T treatment modality is now included as a treatment option as per standard of care. The program, operated in partnership with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, is based in Saskatoon but is provincial in scope.

Requirements:

Education:

• Post-graduate training in Internal Medicine and Hematology

Credentials:

• Must be eligible for and maintain an educational license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. This includes successfully completing the MCCQE1 exam and IELTS (if applicable).
• Must be eligible for and maintain membership and privileges with the Saskatchewan Health Authority in Saskatoon

• CMPA Coverage or equivalent
• Written and verbal fluency in English
