Measurement and Data in QI – Part 4 of a 6 Part Webinar Series

Dr Heather VanderMeulen is transfusion medicine specialist and hematologist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, with an obstetrical hematology practice at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is an assistant professor and clinician in quality and innovation at the University of Toronto. She completed medical school at McMaster University, and internal medicine, hematology and transfusion training at the University of Toronto. She obtained her masters of quality improvement and patient safety at the University of Toronto Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. Her research focuses on optimizing the care of pregnant patients with blood disorders.
